Advising Updates
Hello Students and Families!
I hope that this newsletter finds you well!
Spring break is right around the corner and it is a prime opportunity to visit college campuses. Sophomores and Juniors should use these visits to identify their college criteria. Seniors can use this time to visit or re-visit the colleges they are trying to choose between. Everyone should take the opportunity to meet with admission representatives, and tour the neighborhood where the college is located, and check out academic and recreation facilities.
For more information about how to arrange campus visits, see the campus visit section of your Digital Binder.

Seniors - You have been wrapping up any final applications, working on letters of continued interest, and applying for scholarships. There’s big news ahead and some big decisions to be made too. I am here to support you in that process - reach out if you’d like to schedule a meeting to discuss these things.
No matter the results of your admission decisions, I hope you feel proud of all the hard work you have put into the process. No matter where you go, the college you attend does not define who you are or who you will become.

All Students - Prepare for AP exams
Good luck to those of you who are taking AP exams in May! Spend some time preparing for the exam so you can earn the highest score possible. Khan Academy offers free preparation courses for AP coursework and exams.
Scores of 3, 4, or 5 may qualify for college credit. The AP credit policies of your future college can be found on the college's website. You can also ask your admission counselor for information about the score you need to receive credit for AP coursework.
